Welcome to Hale Quarter Horses, where we believe in raising exceptional Quarter Horses rooted in heart, heritage, and hard-work. At the heart of our program stands DT Shiner, a striking 2015 black stallion with a pedigree that reads like a champion’s creed: sired by the prolific Shiners Lena Chex (out of Lil Miss Smarty Chex and grandson of Shining Spark) and out of the legendary broodmare King Snazzy Sugar (by Fols Classy Snazzy out of Slynking Sugar Whiz).
With this stallion’s lineage, we are deeply committed to producing foals that embody heavy bone, solid structure, and a kind, trainable disposition—horses ready to serve the ranch, the show pen, or a lifetime partner in the saddle. We invite you to come visit our ranch in Union Center, South Dakota, meet DT Shiner, tour our broodmare band, and see firsthand the passion and promise that define Hale Quarter Horses.
